Description
The Netshield Anti-Depredation Dolphin Pinger from Future Oceans is designed to help stop dolphins taking caught fish and reduce costly damage to fishing gear caused by dolphin attacks. With a powerful 175 dB sound output and a frequency range of 60–120 kHz, it helps deter unwanted dolphin interactions with catches and nets.
Built for demanding marine environments, it features a durable, UV-resistant copolymer casing and tough internal housing. The lightweight design attaches quickly to net ropes, while the water-activated switch automatically turns the pinger on and off as it enters and leaves the water.
The Netshield offers a choice of alkaline or lithium-ion batteries, with up to 24 days of battery life using alkaline or 48 days using lithium-ion, based on 12 hours of use per day. Supplied with batteries and an attachment cord, it is easy to install and maintain.
