Description
Uses and Applications
The Crook is a highly durable hooking tool designed for the safe and effective retrieval of humans, animals, or general debris. Inspired by the traditional shepherd’s crook, its shape allows for easy and secure hooking onto a casualty.
Made from robust stainless steel, The Crook is built for demanding environments and repeated use. It attaches easily using a sleeved fitting that slides over the pole top and locks in place with a double sprung button mechanism. Use with or without the clamping float, depending on the reach required.
How to Use
The sleeved fitting is designed to slide over the pole top fitting, which secures it in place using a double sprung button mechanism. Use by extending the pole to the casualty with or without the clamping float (depending on distance). Once engaged, normal procedure applies.
Maintenance and Precautions
The sleeve fitting should be regularly tested on the pole top fitting, as damage will prevent the attachment from fitting securely.
