Description

The easyRESCUE – Search and Rescue Transponder /A/BW-COM uses AIS technology to display the precise GPS position of a person in distress directly on your PC or chart plotter. Once activated, the easyRESCUE/-A/-BW-COM transmits a continuously repeating AIS distress signal with the current GPS position. The easyRESCUE devices are AIS emergency transmitters approved for maritime rescue. The easyRESCUE – Search and Rescue Transponder and the identically constructed versions, the easyRESCUE-A and easyRESCUE-BW-COM, transmit an AIS safety message after initialization, which can be received by all AIS devices (Class A & Class B). The devices are also equipped with an integrated, precise, and fast, latest-generation GPS. The live position of the rescue boat in distress is displayed on a PC or plotter via the AIS system. This allows any vessel in the area (pleasure craft, commercial vessels, government vehicles, SAR, etc.) equipped with AIS on board to initiate an immediate rescue operation. This can significantly increase your chances of survival.
