Description
The easyTRX3 – Class B AIS Receiver features modern connections for NMEA 2000, 3 x NMEA 0183, and USB. A 72-channel GNSS/GPS receiver ensures the best possible reception of position information. The integrated GPS receiver module is particularly intaeresting for GRP and wooden-hulled boats, as it eliminates the need to install an external GPS antenna. The device uses SOTDMA technology. This means that the easyTRX3 – Class B AIS Receiver automatically organizes the free time slots in the AIS transmission process and reserves and keeps the same space free for the next transmission interval. All AIS navigation data can be saved to the internal storage medium, similar to a black box, for data backup. Using a USB connection to a PC/MAC or laptop, the memory can be read out, or the relevant vessel data can be programmed into the AIS transceiver using the included software, without the transceiver having to be connected to its own power supply.
