Description
The vmsTRACK-PRO-CS operates with CSTDMA Class B transmission capabilities. CSTDMA stands for “Carrier Sense Time Division Multiple Access,” which is used for Class B AIS units. The vmsTRACK-PRO-CS operates according to the “”listen before talk”” principle. When a transmission is due, the transceiver monitors the dedicated slot. If no transmission from a Class A transceiver is taking place in that slot, the CSTDMA unit initiates the transmission itself in that slot. The system is expandable to a complete target management system. The vmsTRACK-PRO-CS real-time tracking system enables a radar traffic monitoring system for commercial use. The transmission provides information about the current GPS position, as well as the course and speed of the object, enabling real-time tracking and monitoring of objects to a base station.
