The sMRT AU10-M is a commercial-grade Maritime Survivor Locating Device (MSLD) that combines advanced AIS, VHF DSC, and 121.5MHz technology for enhanced localized alerting, tracking, and recovery. Its water-activated technology, along with audible and visual indicators, ensures rapid and efficient man-overboard (MOB) recovery. The device’s extended signaling range and Class M compliance guarantee reliable tracking over long distances, making it highly effective in MOB incidents.
The sMRT AU10-M features automatic activation and alerts you to every MOB incident within 2–5 seconds, with GPS positions updated every minute via AIS. This ensures that you and all nearby vessels instantly become SAR assets, capable of tracking multiple casualties up to 75 miles away – significantly improving safety and response effectiveness during emergencies.
